RL SERVICES, INTERNATIONAL SECURITY, INC.
Dedicated to protecting freedom, lives and assets world wide.
No man is worth his salt who is not ready at all times to risk his body, to risk
his well-being, to risk his life in a great cause.             -Theodore Roosevelt

The services that RL provides our clients working in the Alaska Bush goes far beyond
protecting them from bear attacks.  Our company’s primary purpose is to bring our clients
back to civilization happy, healthy and successful in their wilderness project.

Every year there are many problems that befall people working in the vast expanse of the
Alaska Bush:
  • Being “weathered in” (where aircraft are unable to fly) from several days to a week
    or more.
  • Getting lost
  • Surviving the ever changing extreme Alaska weather
  •  Injuries
  • Hypothermia
  • Frostbite and frozen limbs in the winter

RL's
BP Specialists are highly trained in:
  • Both winter and summer survival
  • The prevention and treatment of hypothermia
  • Land navigation with map, compass and GPS
  • Wilderness medicine
  • CPR
  • First Aid

In addition to a weapon for bear protection, including non-lethal rounds, RL's
BP Specialists carry for their clients:
  • Survival gear
  • Shelter
  • Sat phone
  • Emergency food rations
  • First aid kit
  • Compass and maps of the area
  • GPS
In Alaska an average of seven people are mauled or killed by Alaskan Brown Bears,
Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears and Black Bears every year.  RL provides
Bear Protection
Specialists
for clients working in the remote and vast Alaska Bush.
According to Tom S. Smith, Ph.D. and Steven Herrero, Ph.D. "you can
expect to encounter bears any month of the year in Alaska. There is never
a time that you can forego appropriate conduct in bear country. We have
experienced a bear inflicted fatality in every month of the year as well. "
(REPORTED)
It has been estimated by experts that as many as several hundred Bear-Human Conflicts occur in Alaska every
year that are not reported because the bear did not have to be killed.  It was stopped by non-lethal force.  RL
advocates and uses non-lethal force to stop bear attacks whenever possible.
